Using the bus from Malaga airport.

Malaga has good public transport. The Malaga bus station is located by terminal T3 level 0 and is served by A-Line express, covering a direct route to Malaga city centre. The typical price per person is 3.00eur and can take around 20 mins.

The shuttle bus departs from the airport every 25min, so there is not much waiting time; look for shuttle bus stop A”

The first bus leaves the airport at 05.05 am then 06.30 am and runs at regular intervals of around 20 to 30 minutes until 10.55 pm then 00.00 am, 00.45 am, 02.00 am and starting again at 05.05 am.

You can also get buses to other locations, Marbella centre, Fuengirola and Estepona.

• Pros: Cheaper than a taxi and slower than the train. It's public transport and good service.
• Cons: Although this is a cheap option, the bus can be jam-packed, especially if lots of flights arrive within a few minutes of each other, this often leads to large queues.

Car hire from Malaga AGP airport.
